Privacy Policy for AI Watermark Remover
Last updated: October 5, 2026
1. Introduction
AI Watermark Remover ("we", "our", or "the tool") is a free web application that removes watermarks from AI-generated images and videos. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
2. Data We Collect
2.1 Files You Process
We do not collect, upload, store, or transmit any files you process. All image and video processing happens 100% client-side in your browser. Your files never leave your device.
2.2 Local Storage
We use your browser's local storage for one thing: to remember whether you chose the light or dark theme. That single value stays on your device. It is never transmitted to us or to anyone else, and it contains no personal data.
2.3 Anonymised Site Usage Data
We measure how the site performs so we can see which pages are used, which errors occur, and whether speed needs improving. This measurement is aggregate and anonymous: it tells us that a page was viewed or was slow, never who viewed it. It is provided by Cloudflare Web Analytics.
What the beacon collects
- Page views: the path visited, such as
/privacy, and the navigation type (a fresh load, a reload, a back/forward visit, or a client-side route change). - Approximate location: the visitor's country, derived from the network address of the request.
- Referrer: the external site that linked to a page, if you arrived from one.
- Device and browser: broad categories only, such as desktop/mobile/tablet, browser family, and operating system family.
- Performance timings: page load time and Core Web Vitals (Largest Contentful Paint, Cumulative Layout Shift, Interaction to Next Paint), read from your browser's Navigation Timing and Performance APIs.
- HTTP status: the response code for the request, so we can spot broken pages.
What the beacon does not do
- No cookies, and no client-side storage of any kind. Nothing is written to your
localStorageorcookiesfor measurement. - No fingerprinting, and no building of an individual profile.
- No cross-site tracking, no advertising, and no sharing or selling of data to advertisers.
- No Google Analytics, no Google AdSense, and no other third-party advertising or tracking code.
- No measurement of the files you process. Uploads and cleaned results never leave your device, so they are never transmitted, stored, or measured.
The beacon is served from static.cloudflareinsights.com and reports to cloudflareinsights.com, so those two providers see your network address as part of serving the script, as any web host does.
Because the data is only useful in aggregate, Cloudflare does not attempt to isolate an individual session from anyone else. You can decline this measurement by enabling Do Not Track in your browser, choosing the browser's strictest tracking protection, or blocking the beacon with a content blocker. The tool works normally either way.
3. Cookies
We do not set any cookies of our own. The only browser storage we use is local storage on your own device, to remember whether you chose the light or dark theme. That value never leaves your browser and is not transmitted to us.
Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookie-free by design: it does not set cookies and does not use local storage for fingerprinting. No consent banner is required as a result. If we ever introduce anything that uses cookies or builds a profile, we will update this policy first and describe what is collected and how to opt out.
4. Third-Party Services
Your files are never sent to anyone. The list below is every external party this site contacts.
- Cloudflare (hosting, CDN, and security): serves these pages and processes request metadata such as your IP address in order to deliver content and protect against abuse.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics (usage measurement): loads the beacon from
static.cloudflareinsights.comand reports anonymised, aggregate usage and performance data described in section 2.3. It sets no cookies.
Everything else is self-hosted. Typefaces are served from this domain, all interface icons are bundled into the application at build time, and the archive library used for batch downloads ships with the app. No request is made to Google Fonts, to any icon CDN, or to any code-hosting CDN.
5. Children's Privacy
This tool is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
6. Your Rights
We do not collect personal data through this tool, so there is generally no personal data held about you to access, modify, or delete. The only value stored on your device is your light or dark theme preference, which you can clear at any time through your browser's site data settings.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
8. Contact Us
